- Centre appoints Chief Commissioner ,Gurdwara Elections
  
  Chandigarh , August 2 , 2018 : Union government has appointed Justice Darshan Singh ( Rtd ) as Chief Commissioner ,Gurdwara Elections .Additional Solicitor General of India Satya Paul Jain told Babushahi.com that the MHA issued formal notification in this regard yesterday. He said he handed over the copy of the notification in the Punjab and Haryana court during the hearing of a petition regarding the holding of SGPC general elections.
