- Hearing in CPS Suresh Kumar case adjourned to May 16
  
  Stay on single judge order to continue
  
  Chandigarh, April 17, 2018: Justice Mr Rajesh Bindal lead division bench of the Punjab and Haryana High court today adjourned the hearing in the case related to the appointment of the Chief Principal Secretary Suresh Kumar to CM Punjab, to May 16, 2018. The bench also ordered to continue the stay on the single judge order through which the appointment of Suresh Kumar for the post of CPS had been quashed.
  
  Punjab Government’s counsel pleaded to postpone the hearing because senior advocate and congress leader P Chidambram could not be able to attend the hearing today.
