Chandigarh, January 30,2019: The probe team investigating into Jaswinder Kaur Sidhu alias Jassi murder case has been honoured by the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP), British Columbia, Canada.
IG Jatinder Aulakh and SP Swaran Singh were honoured by Inspector Dave Chauhan on the behalf of RCMP in the presence of DGP Suresh Arora at the Punjab Police headquarters on Tuesday.
It was the investigation done by the team that led to the extradition of the alleged accused of Jassi murder case. Malkiat kaur Sidhu, mother and Surjit Singh Badesha, uncle of the victim were extradited from Canada to India last week.
Both the investigating officers were presented citations signed by Ward Lymbumer, Chief Superintendent, RCMP, British Columbia. Read the citation below:
