Chandigarh, April 26, 2020: A driver of a PEPSU Road Transport Corporation (PRTC) bus passed away today while on way to pick up pilgrims stranded at Hazur Sahib, Nanded, Maharashtra.
Manjit Singh (38) belonging to Badbar village, Sangrur district, suffered a heart attack while the bus had stopped near Ratlam in Madhya Pradesh.
His bus was part of 80 buses which started their journey yesterday from Punjab to Nanded to bring back Sikh pilgrims who were stranded there after lock/curfew was declared in the country.
