PCMS Doctors of Punjab express solidarity with farmers protests
Moga, December 8, 2020: PCMS Doctors of Punjab held protest rallies across all Govt hospitals of the state under the banner of PCMS Association Punjab to express solidarity with the Farmer's unions of India who are protesting against the government to get the new Agriculture laws repealed.
State President Dr Gagandeep Singh, Sr.VP Dr Gagandeep Shergill, Gen Sec. Dr Manohar,VP, Dr Ranjit Rai, Org Sec Dr Indervir Gill said the doctors joined by members of different health employee unions and NGOs who vent their anger against the indifferent attitude of the central government pushing the whole country into a crisis.
They said, the spontaneity of the protests across the country where all sections of society participated to show solidarity with the farmers showed that the people understood the mal intentions of the powers, who are desperate to give everything to the few favorite corporates.
The protests were led by Dr Gurmail Ankhi, Dr Chander Shekhar, Dr SekhonDr Baljit kaur,,Dr Madan,Dr Sharin,Dr Jasbir Aulakh,Dr Bajwa,Dr Pannu, Dr Inderjit Singla and other senior leaders of PCMSA in different health institutions PCMSA wants the government to take back these laws and sit with farmer unions and other stake holders to bring out new reforms to uplift the Agriculture sector.
