Chandigarh Airport donates 5 ambulance to Govt hospitals
Chandigarh, April 23, 2021: Under its Corporate Social Responsibility activity, Chandigarh International Airport has handed over five fully Equipped Ambulances worth Rs 65 lakhs approx to Government Hospitals of five districts of Punjab & Haryana.
The district that will receive ambulances includes Ferozepur, Mohali, Nuh (Mewat), and Ambala. While the three ambulances are Force Tax Cruiser, another two are Force Traveler.
COVID-19 vaccination Camp
A vaccination camp was successfully organised by Chandigarh International Airport on 20-21st April, 2021 with the help of District Health Department for frontline workers including all the airline staff and other airport stakeholders.
Around 203 people were vaccinated at the airport. All the incoming passengers are being tested at the airport based on stipulated guidelines from the Health Department of the Punjab Government.
All the passengers are requested to follow COVID's appropriate behavior and contribute towards a safe environment while traveling.
