Panchkula’s Samarpan Foundation starts providing free lunch to COVID patients in Zirakpur
Chandigarh, May 20, 2021:
The Samarpan Foundation, Panchkula, led by young volunteers, has now added Zirakpur to its area of operations as part of its unique and philanthropic initiative of providing free lunch to all the COVID and quarantine patients of the tricity.
Divulging details, the Founder Trustee of the Samarpan Foundation Mrs. Ravee Pandher said that the needy patients need to send a message on WhatsApp a day in advance on the following contact numbers of her core team members who conceived the initiative - Tapasya Sharma (9888480025), Amrit Gill Mahajan (9915809155), and Col Jhamb (9797419929).
"We have only one point agenda and that is to try our level best for alleviating the difficulties and miseries of the COVID patients in the trying times of this pandemic. We all need to close ranks and come together as one to help our fellow beings in this hour of need", said the trio thus justifying the name 'Samarpan' aka dedication.
What makes the initiative all the more worthy of appreciation is the involvement of youth volunteers in this novel as well as noble cause especially in the wake of Covid-19 pandemic. These youth volunteers like Aleema Nalwa (08360311682) contributing dessert to the meals through her own sugar whisk bakery thus adding sweetness into the lives of people, Shaurya (9914349555) and Ananyaa (9888549555) very aptly handling the social media part in order to raise awareness and their heroic efforts are strengthened by other energetic volunteers such as Inaayat Brar (7717469707) and, Breena Pandher (8360848272).
