Rajinder Badheri slams Tript Bajwa for 'defaming farmers'
Chandigarh, May 21, 2021: A day after Punjab cabinet minister Trip Rajinder Singh Bajwa said that COVID-19 is rapidly spreading in Punjab due to the farmers agitating at Singhu and Tikri border,
Rajinder Singh Badheri, National Delegate of All India Jatt Mahasabha and State President of Union Territory of Chandigarh has strongly condemned minister’s statement.
Badheri said that it was a vicious attempt to discredit the farmers. He alleged that Tript Bajwa was now misleading the general public by using the language of BJP.
He also demanded from the Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh and State Congress President Sunil Jakhar to take stern action against the Punjab’s rural development minister Tript Rajinder Singh Bajwa.
“If corona virus had been spreading among the agitating farmers, half of Punjab would have been infected with Coronavirus by now. Tripat Bajwa was now accustomed to disguise like Narendra Modi and Corona. No such attempt would be able to thwart the peasant movement. The struggle of the farmers will continue till the repeal of the three controversial Agriculture Laws,” Badheri added.
