Nodal Officer released SVEEP Gidha for voter awareness in Ferozepur
Ferozepur, 29 April 2024: In an exclusive effort of Systematic Voters Education and Electoral Participation –SVEEP- Team in Ferozepur to educate voters through cultural activities and in order to ensure the participation of every voter in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections 2024, Sweep Team and Sweep Artist Team have prepared 'Sweep Giddha' with an aim of making voters aware through cultural activities, which was released today by SVEEP Nodal Officer -cum-ADC(D) Arun Sharma, under the leadership of DEO-cum-DC Rajesh Dhiman.
Earlier, the song 'Nazar Di Vohti' was released to motivate the voters, which was liked by the people and was also praised by the Election Commission Punjab and shared on its social media platforms.
ADC, Arun Sharma said that the cultural SVEEP dialects in this SVEEP Gidha were sung by Ritu, Rabia, Rebika, Shruti, Valika, Ninder Kaur, Kirandeep Kaur, students of Dev Samaj College for Women (DSCW) and written by famous lyricist Gill Gulamiwala. . Its music is composed by Lankesh Kamal and the video is produced by Rajinder.
He said that the need of the hour is that every voter should exercise his right to vote on June 1, 2024, in this festival of democracy, 'Chonas Da Parv Desh Da Garav'. Efforts are being made to ensure the participation of the maximum number of people in these elections. He appealed to the voters to cast their vote without any fear, prejudice or greed.
He said, efforts are being made to achieve voter awareness and more than 80 per cent voter target. The target of district administration Ferozepur is to increase vote poll percentage so that people of all classes can vote without any fear.
