Ferozepur, May 7, 2024: In a bid to ignite fervor among the youth electorate, senior students of Mahmujoyia Govt School spearhead a vibrant voter awareness rally, setting the stage for active participation in the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections 2024.
As the nation gears up for the Lok Sabha Elections 2024, the desire of young voters to exercise their democratic right for the first time takes center stage, reflecting a burgeoning sense of civic responsibility and engagement.
Under the astute guidance of the Chief Electoral Officer of Punjab, the Systematic Voters' Education and Electoral Participation (SVEEP) activities gain momentum, targeting a wide array of voter demographics, including first-time voters, women, seniors, and individuals with disabilities, particularly in underserved polling areas.
Harnessing the spirit of innovation, the SVEEP team, led by District Election Officer cum Deputy Commissioner Rajesh Dhiman and Assistant Returning Officer of Constituency Guruharshahai SDM Gagandeep Singh, introduces a range of initiatives to enhance voter participation.
