Chandigarh, March 5: Punjab Congress Legislative Party (CLP) leader Sunil Jakhar today in Punjab Vidhan Sabha, while speaking on the alleged role of Cabinet Minister Bikramjeet Singh Majithia in Punjab Drug racket, gave the clean chit to the minister in a complete satirical way. Jakhar told that the CBI probe in the drug racket is required as it would bring fore the true faces who were behind the scene in trapping Majithia in the drug racket. Talking on the drug issue where the Druglord Jagdish Bhola took the name of the minister in the drug racket, Jakhar said that its quite strange that how an accused (Bhola) holds a Press Conference so blatantly to take the minister’s name. Raising the doubts about the revelation by Bhola, Jakhar said that it’s an open secret about Punjab Police that it can press any culprit to name any bigwig in the false cases but how it could happen that the name of a sitting Minister came to fore? Jakhar questioned that if someone reliable is back-stabbing the minister just to take any sweet revenge? Jakhar also praised the minister and said that he himself was the 1st to admire the minister at the time when he was selected as a legislator. Jakhar again raised the question that how an accused in drug racket could manage to hold a press conference while he was in Police custody. He thus clarified that this is the reason that Congress sough a CBI probe in the whole matter to bring fore the hidden faces. Later talking to mediapersons, Jakhar said that he din’t mean at all that Majithia is not responsible for the drug trade. Thus, the CLP leader Sunil Jakhar managed to accuse some of the ruling party leaders of trapping the Majithia in the drug racket and in a way himself gave the clean chit to the minister.
