Chandigarh, October 8: INLD supremo Om Parkash Chautala while addressing series of election rallies at Safidon, Kaithal, Barwala, Fatehabad and Sirsa assembly segments said that during the ten year rule in Haryana, Congress government remained embroiled in controversies, scams and failed to take steps for the development of the state. He said that the common people in Haryana have to suffer a lot for getting even the basis facilities of heath, education, water and electricity. “The farming community in the state is suffering a lot for want of the requisite water, electricity and fertilizers with the state government paying no attention towards the farm sector. The condition has worsened so much that farmers are compelled to commit suicideâ€, he said. Chautala vowed to the electorate to exercise their right to franchise to throw out the corrupt Hooda regime out of power. Lauding the INLD workers, Chautala said that party’s rank and file has done a lot to expose the wrongdoings of the Congress government. “Now, the party cadre is touring each and every part of the state urging the voters to cast their vote in order to bring INLD at the helm of affairs so that Haryana could be put on the path of the fast track progressâ€, he added. The INLD Supremo said, it is writing on the wall that the Indian National Lok Dal (INLD) would constitute the next government in Haryana. Even if the Prime Minister Narendra Modi visits all the 90 assembly segments of the state, he would not be able to taste any success. He said that the performance of the Modi government in its first 100 days has been dismal and BJP government has miserably failed to do any good to the people. “The people in Haryana are all geared up to teach a lesson to the congress as well as BJP in the electionsâ€, he stated. Chautala further stated that wherever Modi is going, BJP is losing. He added that Modi’s lies will not work on the soil of Haryana. “People in Haryana will choose INLD as our party talks about welfare of the people. Despite the fact that it has been 130 days since Modi government took over from Congress-led UPA at the centre, the government has not been able to fulfill the promises made by the electorate. Neither the government has been able to tackle price rise, nor the government has done anything to ensure that the farmers get proper MSP of their produce and even farmers getting less rate for paddy to compare of last yearâ€, he claimed. Chautala said that on the lines of Congress, in BJP also – the rich and mighty have their say. He said that as many as more than one third candidates of the BJP are those who have come discarding other parties. Attacking Congress, Chautala said that it was complete misrule by the Congress for over a decade in Haryana. “The corruption touched new heights during the Hooda regime. Hardly anything was done for the welfare of the people. The mis-governance, corruption and red-tapism has caused immense damage to the state and it is now opportunity for the people to throw Congress out of powerâ€, he thundered. Shri Chautala said that the Congress government has looted people with open hands and now the Congress would be wiped out of Haryana. Strongly lambasting Congress, Chautala said that under a well planned conspiracy, we (Chautala’s) were sent to Jail so that the INLD would disintegrate, while adding, “But INLD cadre is so strong that it remained united for the decisive battle of elections scheduled for October 15.â€
