Badal at Rayat-Bahra-Skill Center
New Delhi, February 4, 2015: With less than 36 hours left for campaigning for Delhi Assembly elections, political parties are making last ditch efforts to woo the voters. Leaders from various parties are holding rallies, road shows and door to door campaign to convince the voters. BJP is banking on the development work done by Narendra Modi government in the last eight months while Aam Aadmi Party is talking about initiatives taken during its 49 days rule. On the other hand, Congress is highlighting the development work done in the city in last 15 years. Media reports that the main issues making rounds in the election are women security, cheap electricity, water and transparent administration. As the campaign for the Delhi assembly elections enters the final days, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address an election rally at Ambedkar Nagar and Aam Aadmi Party Convenor Arvind Kejriwal to address a rally at Krishna Nagar today. Addressing a rally in Jahangirpuri, Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi today targeted the Narendra Modi government and asked whether the lives of common people have changed in the past seven months. Mr. Gandhi said inflation has further gone up and alleged that Mr Modi's businessmen friends have been profited the most. He said the Prime Minister speaks of Make In India but instead wears a foreign made suit. The Congress Vice President said that no one can deny what Congress has done for Delhi. He said UPA suffered political loss because it brought the Land Acquisition Bill. Mr Gandhi said that everyone will have their own houses to live in within two years if Congress comes to power. He promised full statehood to Delhi within two years of coming to power. He also said power and water rates will be reduced in 6 months and contract labour in offices like DTC will be made permanent.
