Chandigarh. May 7, 2015 : The Punjab Deputy Chief Minister Mr. Sukhbir Singh Badal said here today that "no individual or organization or company regardless of its identity, is above the law and said that the SAD and the Punjab government were deeply committed and determined to demonstrate forcefully their commitment to total and expeditious justice under the strictest relevant provisions of law. Writing on his Facebook page, Mr. Badal said that he, his party and the Punjab government have full and unflinching faith in and respect for judiciary. He said that the Punjab government and he personally were determined also to demonstrate that in Punjab, the supremacy of the rule of law is an article of sacred faith with the government, and this will be the case in the present case, even more than usual. Sukhbir further said that it was "such a huge relief that the honourable Punjab and Haryana High Court will be overseeing all facts regarding the tragic and most painful bus episode in Moga to public has a right to know all the facts and all the details concerning all aspects of the issue. " He said that he had maintained right from the start that that law must and will take its course in the Moga tragic case, as it indeed it must in every case. I have also repeatedly said that no individual or organization or company, regardless of their identity, is above the law. In this case, we are determined even more than usual; the Punjab govt is committed to demonstrate its faith in rule of law most forcefully. Full and unflinching faith in and respect for judiciary. -------------
