***Thirteen cases of Corona have been reported positive in State.
- Case 1 is a resident of Italy. Tracked at Amritsar Airport and is admitted at GMC Amritsar. He is admitted and stable.
- Case 2 belongs to SBS Nagar. Patient was 70-year-old and was already suffering from Diabetes and Hypertension. Patient had come from Germany via Italy on 7th March at Delhi Airport. Patient died due to cardiac arrest in Govt Hospital.
- Case 3 belongs to SAS Nagar. She is 69 year old female. She came back from UK on 13th March at Delhi Airport. She reported on 18th March. Samples were collected and found positive from PGI. She is admitted and stable.
- Case 4: Belongs to SBS Nagar. He is 35 yr old male. He is son of Case 2 and was in close contact of Case 2. He has been tested positive. He is under hospital isolation and is stable.
- Case5: Belongs to SBS Nagar. He is 34 yr old male. He is son of Case 2 and was in close contact of Case 2. He has been tested positive. He is under hospital isolation and is stable.
- Case 6: Belongs to SBS Nagar. Belongs to SBS Nagar. He is 45 yr old male. He is son of Case 2 and was in close contact of Case 2. He has been tested positive. He is under hospital isolation and is stable.
- Case7: Belongs to SBS Nagar. She is 40 year old female. She is daughter in law of Case 2. She has been tested positive. He is under hospital isolation and is stable.
- Case 8: Belongs to SBS Nagar. She is 17 year old female. She is grand daughter of Case 2. She has been tested positive. He is under hospital isolation and is stable.
- Case 9: Belongs to SBS Nagar. She is 36 year old female. She is daughter of Case 2. She has been tested positive. He is under hospital isolation and is stable.
- Case 10: He is 42 year old male and belongs to SAS Nagar. He came back from London on 12th March at Delhi Airport. He reported at GMSH-16 hospital. He is stablr.
- Case 11: He is 60 year old male from Garshankar in Hoshiarpur. He had come in contact with Case 2 of SBS Nagar. He is admitted and is stable.
- Case 12: She is 74 year old female from SAS Nagar. She is sister of Case 3 and she had travelled from UK with Case 3 and was staying with her. She is admitted and is stable.
- Case 13: She is 28 year old female from SAS Nagar. She is employee of the case reported in Chandigarh. She is admitted and is stable.
The close contacts of all these cases have been put under quarantine and surveillance. Samples of close contacts of these cases have also been taken and sent to designated labs for testing.
Teams are working for surveillance.

- Quarantine facilities have been identified in Amritsar and SAS Nagar.
- 48 passengers are under Govt quarantine at Amritsar.
- All are stable and asymptomatic
- Advisory and guidelines issued to all the districts for prevention and management.
- Screening of passengers being done at both the International Airports (Amritsar & Mohali) and check posts at International Border (Attari/Wagah and Dera Baba Nanak, Gurdaspur)
- 2856 beds in 210 solation Wards have been identified.
- 16890 beds in 96 quarantine facilities have been identified in the State
- Control Room at State & District level activated.
- Central Helpline number 104 active. No. of seats in 104 helpline have been increased to 15 in order to address the public queries.
- Sufficient logistics available at all sites.
