CISF organises free health medical camp for its personnel and families in Haryana Civil Secretariat Chandigarh

Chandigarh, March 16, 2024- Senior Commandant, CISF at Haryana Civil Secretariat, Chandigarh, Yogesh Prakash Singh said that keeping soldiers and their families healthy is our priority. If a soldier is healthy, he will be able to perform his duty properly.
.Singh was speaking on the occasion of a free medical health check-up camp organised for CISF personnel and their families at CISF Camp, Haryana Civil Secretariat Chandigarh today.
The camp was organised in collaboration with Mahatma Gandhi Medical College and Hospital, Jaipur, and the health of around 400 CISF personnel and their families was checked during the camp. Dr. ML Swarankar, Senior Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology, PGI, Chandigarh, participated as the chief guest at the medical health check-up camp.
The camp featured a range of medical services including general health assessments, blood pressure monitoring (Hypertension), Liver check-up, blood sugar testing (Diabetes mellitus), BMI measurements, Coronary artery disease, ECG, BP Monitoring, Fibro Scan, Nutritional Assessment by Dietitian, and expert consultations on various health concerns.
The screening was conducted under the leadership of Dr. Naimish N Mehta, Professor & Head, Deptt of HPB and Liver transplantation Surgery, Mahatma Gandhi Medical College and Hospital, Jaipur.
Senior Commandant, Yogesh Prakash Singh expressed gratitude towards MG Hospital, Jaipur for their cooperation in making this initiative successful.
He emphasised the paramount importance of health and well-being, stating, "Our troops and their families are the backbone of our unit, and their health is our top priority. By offering these vital health services, we aim to ensure they receive the necessary care and support."
Chief Operating Officer, Sh. Sukanta Kumar Das and Deputy Director, Dr. Manu Kumar Soni from Mahatma Gandhi University Medical Sciences and Technology, Jaipur also remained present on the occasion.
