PU Polls: AAP's student wing CYSS announces candidate for President post

Chandigarh, August 28, 2024:Aam Aadmi Party's student wing Chatr Yuva Sangharsh Samiti (CYSS) announced Prince Chaudhary as its candidate for the President post of the upcoming Panjab University students council polls on Wednesday.
The election of the Panjab University students council has been scheduled for September 5.
Notably, in 2022, CYSS bagged victory in the President post when Ayush Khatkar became the president. However last year, the CYSS failed to win any of the four posts of the students council.
Punjab University student elections are to be held on the 5th. All student organizations have started announcing their candidates.
At the same time, a press conference is also being held by the student wing of Aam Aadmi Party, CYSS. For the first time in 2022, a president will be elected in Punjab University.
The election was won by Ayush Khatkar of CYSS. He could not win last time. CYSS in-charge Manjinder Lal Pura and other senior leaders were present in the press conference.
CYSS has fielded Prince Chaudhary as its presidential candidate for the student union elections. CYSS will contest for only one post. The fight is being fought for only one seat.There is no alliance with any party. Next time all four seats will be contested. But there will be a fight.
Prince Chaudhary said that we are going to win this time, the shortcomings that were there last year have been rectified. This time there is full hope of victory.
