The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has appointed retired PCS officer Gopal Singh as the new Halqa In-Charge of Bathinda Rural, reinforcing the party's organizational structure in the constituency.
Gopal Singh brings with him decades of administrative experience in the Punjab Government. During his distinguished career, he served as Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC), Barnala, Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM), Malout, Executive Magistrate, and Assistant Commissioner (Grievances) in various districts of Punjab. He also served as Deputy Secretary in the Department of Public Relations, Chandigarh, where he handled key administrative responsibilities.
Welcoming the appointment, Paramjit Singh Kot Fatta, Chairman of the Primary Cooperative Agriculture Development Bank, Hardeep Singh Sra, Chairman of the District Planning Board, Bathinda, Raman Sidhu, District Youth President, and Hartej Singh Bhullar, Social Media In-Charge, congratulated Gopal Singh on being entrusted with the responsibility of leading the Bathinda Rural constituency.
The party leaders expressed confidence that Gopal Singh's vast administrative experience, leadership qualities, and understanding of public affairs would significantly strengthen the Aam Aadmi Party's organizational network. They stated that his appointment would play a vital role in expanding the party's presence at the grassroots level, enhancing public outreach, and ensuring effective implementation of the party's programmes and policies across Bathinda Rural.
They further expressed hope that under Gopal Singh's leadership, the party would become stronger and more closely connected with the people of the constituency.
