Chandigarh, December 21, 2016: Aam Aadmi Party on Wednesday requested all the organizations protesting against Punjab government to avoid taking extreme steps while demonstrating. Taking serious note of an EGS teacher’s attempt of immolation while protesting against Punjab government at Bathinda, AAP leader Himmat Singh Shergill said this it is unfortunate that the youngsters have to burn themselves to make government to listen to their genuine demands. “We are aware of the pain that is being experienced by these agitating teachers, they have gained degrees to get jobs but anti people policies of government are forcing them to take extreme steps. I would request all the agitating brothers and sisters to wait till 2017.” Shergill said. “After formation of AAP government in Punjab all the employees working on contract basis will be made regular.” Shergill said.
