Amarpreet Kaur Sandhu IAS assumed charge as Deputy Commissioner of Fazilka on Saturday. She is a 2016 batch IAS officer. She was earlier serving as Chief Administrator of Jalandhar Development Authority. Now along with the post of Deputy Commissioner of Fazilka, she will also hold the charge of Commissioner of Municipal Corporation Abohar.
She is one of the finest officers of Punjab and she is credited for doing good work as ADC (Development) in Mansa district. During her tenure, various schemes were implemented and completed in a time bound manner.
While assuming office on this occasion, she said that effective implementation of government schemes and programs in Fazilka district will be his priority and it will be ensured that the benefits of the government's public welfare schemes reach every eligible section of the society.
She said that it will be her priority to complete the ongoing development projects of the district in a timely manner according to high standards of quality. Public grievance disposal will be done on priority.
She was welcomed by SSP Varinder Singh Brar, SP Ramnish Chaudhary, SDM Pankaj Bansal, DSP Kanwalpal Singh and the staff of the Deputy Commissioner's office.
