Kaithal (Haryana), July 5: Making it clear that the Bill for formation of separate Sikh Gurdwara panel in Haryana will be passed in the coming Assembly session, Haryana PWD Minister and spokesperson of All India Congress Committee asked Punjab CM Parkash Singh Badal and Deputy CM Sukhbir Badal to stop interfering in the Haryana affairs. Addressing press conference in Kaithal today, he said that the issue of creating separate Haryana Sikh Gurdwara Committee was already included in Congress manifesto in 2005, respecting the sentiments of Sikhs of Haryana State. Lashing out at Indian National Lok Dal and BJP, Surjewala said that both these parties are the puppets of Badal. He urged Home Minister Rajnath Singh to respect the constitutional structure leaving the policy of discrimination. He said that the Punjab CM Parkash Singh Badal and Sukhbir Badal must remember that they have huge chunk of land and a palatial house in Haryana and they must therefore support this cause. When asked about the divergent opinion of MPs Dushyant Chautala and Abhay Chautala on the issue of separate Haryana Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee, Surjewal said that there is a difference of thought and action in INLD. It may be recalled that a Sikh sammelan has been called on July 6, 2014 in Kaithal, which will be presided over by Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda. PWD Minister Randeep Surjewala and Finance Minister Harmohinder Singh Chattha will also join. It is being talked in political circles that the announcement of separate Sikh panel may be made in this conclave on July 6th. Meanwhile, the police have made elaborate security arrangements for this conference in Kaithal to check any untoward incidence. The Karnal range Police Chief Rajbir Deswal along with other senior officers reviewed the security arrangements from all angles. The Sikh Sammellan venue will have a huge pandal of 350 x 222 sq. ft. divided in 8 sectors and senior police officers have been deputed in each segment to ensure full proof security arrangements.
