Police launches a Mobile APP to help devotees on the occasion of Baisakhi

Bathinda, 12 April, 2019: To lend a big helping hand and relief to the devotees who will come to pay obeisance on the occasion of Baisakhi at Takht Damdama Sahib Talwandi Sabo, the Bathinda Police led by a young IPS officer Dr Nanak Singh launched an APP which will serve as a useful purpose.
The Mobile APP “Baisakhi Helpline Bathinda Police” is a brainchild of SSP Dr Nanak Singh. It is a unique initiative of the IPS officer. Earlier, Dr Nanak Singh had earned good will of the citizens by containing the hooligan groups with a heavy hand on the occasion of Holi celebrations in the city.
Speaking with Babushahi, Dr Nanak Singh said “The aim of this helpline Mobile APP is to provide a wide range of information to the common visitor’s and devotees at their hands with new age technology. It will also be useful to government employees, who will be on duty in the area”.
Dr Nanak Singh further said “The Mobile APP will provide information regarding the Gurudwaras to be visited, Rout Plan, Parking Places, Police Help Counters, Bank ATMs, Petrol Pumps, Hospitals, Police Stations and Sarovars”. To use this APP user can download it free from the Anroid play store on their mobile sets, he said.
Meanwhile, Gian Chand Bansal spokesperson of the Swaraj Abhiyan appreciated the efforts of the SSP. He said “The Mobile APP will prove beneficial for the devotees who will pay homage at the Takhat Sahib”. It will serve a useful for all visitors.
