Breaking: Ludhiana CP Swapan Sharma appears before ED in Chandigarh

Chandigarh, October 19, 2026: Ludhiana Police Commissioner and IPS officer Swapan Sharma appeared at the Enforcement Directorate (ED) office in Sector 17, Chandigarh, on Monday in connection with an investigation into a controversial video case involving the Punjab Chief Minister.
According to information available, the ED team is questioning Sharma as part of the ongoing investigation.
The case reportedly has links to Gurugram in Haryana, where two individuals, identified as Ankur and Ankit, were arrested. During questioning, the two allegedly named Sharma, following which the investigating agency summoned the IPS officer for questioning.
