Ferozepur's Meritorious School shines; 16 students crack JEE among 189 from Punjab Govt Schools
Ferozepur, April 22, 2025: In a remarkable academic achievement, 16 students from Saragarhi Memorial Meritorious School, Hakumat Singh Wala, Ferozepur, have successfully cleared the prestigious Joint Entrance Examination (JEE), a gateway to top engineering and technical colleges in India. They are among the 189 students from Punjab government schools who cracked the exam this year.
Among them, Ansh Dhawan scored an impressive 86.46 percentile, while Lovepreet Singh secured 80.46 percentile, making the Ferozepur district proud with their performance.
Congratulating the achievers, District Education Officer (Secondary) Manila Arora and Deputy DEO Dr. Satinder Singh applauded the dedication of the students and the effective mentorship of the school staff. They noted that such success reflects the potential of students in government schools and will inspire others to aim high in competitive examinations.
Principal Chamkaur Singh Saran also extended his congratulations to the students and faculty, emphasizing that the results once again prove how commitment and hard work can lead to great success.
