  Halwara (Ludhiana), May 15, 2026: First commecial flight from Delhi landed at Halwara Airport today morning at 7.05 AM.
  
  Flight carried Union Minister of State for Railways Ravneet Singh Bittu, Member Paliament Vikramjeet Singh Sahwney, Rajinder Gupta besides other passengers. Now commecial flights will being from Ludhiana to Delhi, marking a new begining which will prove too beneficial for businessmen and Industrialists from the town and surroundings.
