IAS Breaking: Secretary and Director, Information & Public Relations Among Four IAS Officers Transferred

Chandigarh, May 13, 2026: The Government of Punjab on Tuesday ordered the transfer and posting of four IAS officers with immediate effect. The reshuffle includes the transfer of the Secretary and Director of the Information and Public Relations Department.
- Shri Ramvir, IAS, Administrative Secretary, Information & Public Relations, and in addition Commissioner, Jalandhar Division, has been posted as Commissioner, Jalandhar Division, and in addition Administrative Secretary, Water Supply and Sanitation.
- Shri Ghanshyam Thori, IAS, Secretary, Health & Family Welfare, and Mission Director, National Health Mission, Punjab, has been posted as Secretary, Health & Family Welfare, Mission Director, NHM, and in addition Secretary, Medical Education & Research.
- Shri Puneet Goyal, IAS, Special Secretary, Medical Education & Research, has been appointed as Special Secretary, Information & Public Relations, with additional charge of Director, Information & Public Relations.
- Smt. Akshita Gupta, IAS, Director, Information & Public Relations, has been posted as Additional Deputy Commissioner (General), Ropar, against a vacant post.
