Ki tu mil bhi agar jae to ab milne ka gham hoga
Raat to waqt ki paband hai dhal jayegi,
Dekhna ye hai ki in charagon ka safar kitna hai
“Musalsal hadon se bas itni shikayat hai,
Ki ye aansu bahane ki bhi to mohlat nahin dete

Apni taraf to main bhi nhi hun abhi talak,
Aur us taraf tamam zamana usi ka hai
Jo sham hoti hai har roz, haar jata hun,
Main apne jism ki parchhaiyon se ladte hue
