Ramgarh, February 7, 2025: The Department of Agriculture Production & Farmers Welfare organized a successful Kissan Gosti in Panchayat Trindian, Ramgarh today, bringing together farmers, agricultural experts, and government officials to discuss the latest advancements in agriculture and the welfare schemes available for the farming community.
The event was graced by the esteemed Chief Guest, MLA Ramgarh Dr. Devinder Kumar Manyal and Former Minister for Health and Medical Education J&K, who addressed the gathering and expressed his commitment to the growth and welfare of the farming sector in Jammu and Kashmir.
He emphasized the importance of collaboration between farmers, government agencies, and agricultural experts to ensure sustainable development and prosperity for the region’s agricultural community.
SDAO, Naresh Raina, delivered an informative session, explaining various agriculture schemes and initiatives available for farmers in Jammu and Kashmir.
His presentation highlighted key programs aimed at improving farming practices, increasing productivity, and providing financial support for the adoption of modern agricultural techniques.
The event was also attended by several distinguished figures, including Ex-BDC Chairman Mr. Darshan Singh, Former Sarpanch Mr. Bharat Bhushan, Prem Pal Choudhary, Mandal Pardhan Ramgarh Nancy Choudhary, and General Secretary Binder Singh, Shiv Choudhary all of whom have been strong advocates for the farming community.
Additionally, AEO Mr. Sumedh Gupta and AEA Mr. Vishal Kumar were present, having made significant contributions to the agricultural development of the region.
The gathering discussed various pressing issues in agriculture, including modern farming techniques, market access, irrigation systems, and the effective implementation of government schemes.
