Nawanshahr DC launches free training program for competitive exams

Nawanshahr (Punjab), December 24,2024: In a significant step towards empowering the youth of the district, Deputy Commissioner Rajesh Dhiman has announced the launch of Free Training Program under the aegis of the Red Cross Society.
This initiative aims to support aspiring candidates preparing for competitive examinations such as Police Recruitment, PCS, SI, Agniveer and Defence forces.The training camp to be held at ITI Ground, Nawanshahr, is open to youth between the age of 18 to 28.
Participants will receive comprehensive guidance, including access to books, training materials, shoes and detailed information regarding physical parameters essential for these exams.
The program’s primary aim is to engage the youth in meaningful and productive activities, emphasizing physical fitness, discipline and career-oriented growth.
By focusing on both mental and physical development, the initiative seeks to nurture a generation that is healthier, more self-reliant and better equipped to contribute positively to society.Speaking about the initiative, Deputy Commissioner Shri Rajesh Dhiman stated.
