Pakistan cancels Sikh devotees visit ahead of Martyrdom Day of Guru Arjun Dev
Chandigarh, June 4, 2021: Due to a surge in COVID-19 cases in the country, Pakistan decided to cancel the forthcoming visit of Sikh Jatha on the occasion of Martyrdom Day of Sri Guru Arjun Dev and Barsi of Maharaja Ranjit Singh scheduled to be held in June
“SGPC was fully prepared to send the jatha across the border to Pakistan to mark the martyrdom day of Sri Guru Arjan Dev Ji at GurdwaraDehraSahib in Lahore, & so far, the Indian govt had also not raised any kind of restriction on the jatha”, said Bibi Jagir Kaur
