Railway officials Pay tribute on Dr. Ambedkar's 69th Mahaparinirvana Day
Ferozepur, December 6, 2024: The 69th Mahaparinirvana Day of Bharat Ratna Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar, the architect of the Indian Constitution and a revered social reformer, was solemnly observed at the Railway Board Office in Ferozepur. Babasaheb Ambedkar passed away on December 6, 1956, and this day is marked annually to honour his legacy and contributions to the nation.
The commemoration witnessed the presence of Divisional Railway Manager (DRM) Sanjay Sahu, Additional Divisional Railway Manager Rajendra Kumar Kalda, and other officers and employees, who paid floral tributes to Dr. Ambedkar's portrait.
Speaking on the occasion, DRM Sanjay Sahu highlighted Dr. Ambedkar's pivotal role in shaping the Indian Constitution, which guarantees equal social, economic, educational, and religious rights to every citizen. Describing him as the "Messiah of Dalits" and the "Creator of Modern India," Sahu emphasized that following Dr. Ambedkar's principles would be the true homage to his memory.
The event served as a reminder of Dr. Ambedkar’s unwavering commitment to equality and social justice, inspiring everyone to uphold his ideals.
