Road safety message echoes SGRM School of Excellence; “Sadak Suraksha, Jeewan Raksha ” becomes a public

Ferozepur, February 15, 2026: With the objective of preventing road accidents and instilling a sense of responsibility among youth, Mayank Foundation organised a powerful Road Safety Awareness Campaign at SGRM Govt Sr Sec Girls School of Excellence, Zira. In collaboration with Kranti Kala Manch, an impactful street play - ‘Bach Ke Moud To’ was presented, leaving a deep impression on students and faculty members alike.
Through the street play, strong messages were delivered on the mandatory use of helmets and seat belts, the dangers of overspeeding, adherence to traffic signals, and the priceless value of human life. The performance effectively conveyed that a moment of negligence can cost a lifetime of regret.
With this event, the series of ten street plays were successfully concluded. The campaign reached thousands of students and members of the public, spreading awareness about responsible road behavior. Students collectively pledged to strictly follow traffic rules and promote road safety in their communities.
The Principal, Rakesh Sharma, appreciated the dedicated efforts of Mayank Foundation and stated that such awareness initiatives are the need of the hour. He assured full support for future endeavours.
