Nawanshahr, September 12, 2018: The Director, State Council of Education Research and Training ( SCERT), has rescheduled the second phase of the training workshop of the BPEOs. The first phase of the training workshop for sensitising BPEOs about the various innovative activities under “ Parho Punjab, Parhao Punjab” project, currently underway in the state to bring in qualitative improvement in pre-primary and primary education, was organised from September 04 to September 07. The second phase was scheduled to be held from September 17 to 20. But, due to Zila Parishadh and Block Samiti Polls to be held on September 19, the training workshop has been postponed. The training workshop would now be held from September 26 to 29 at RICM, Sector 32, Chandigarh.
The BPEOs, who could not take part in the first phase of the training workshop, has also been asked to ensure their attendance during the second phase of the training.
It is worthwhile to mention here that the teaining workshops for BPEOs were mooted to boost the comprehensively planned implementation of the “ Parho Punjab, Parhao Punjab” project aimed education reforms to ensure qualitative improvement in school education. It would help the BPEOs to understand the concept of the project, thus, would strive hard to coordinate and monitor the various innovative activities in their respective education blocks to achieve the desired results.
