Vancouver (Canada), June 24, 2020: A large number of people belonging to ‘Friends of India’ group gathered outside the Chinese Consulate in Vancouver and across the road on Tuesday to protest against China for occupying Indian territory and killing Indian soldiers.
The protesters were holding banners like "Stop killing people in India" and “Stop spreading war” and “Free Tibet”.
One of the protesters said China is a threat to world peace and democracy and is harassing not only India but all its neighbours and time has come to openly confront the Chinese and stop their expansionist ideology. Everyone should also boycott Chinese goods, he added.
‘Friends of India’ group is being lead by prominent Indian origin Canadian citizen Maninder Gill who the owner of Radio India , US-Canada.
