Chandigarh, March 5, 2021: On the issue of farmers agitation, Captain Amarinder Singh said the nation was fighting with the pandemic and in the meantime the central government passed three agri laws. When the ordinances were passed, we opposed them and demanded the government to withdrawal those laws.
"All the three bills were passed unanimously. The central government remained unmoved on the farmers 'protest," he said.
Slamming SAD, the CM said, the Akalis had written a letter to me and said that the three laws are beneficial for the farmers and the Congress government is trying to mislead the farmers.
He said, the letter was written by Sukhbir Badal. "Before the resignation from cabinet, Harsimrat had even posted a video on her social media and made a caption on it that there is nothing wrong in the farm ordinances still the government is misleading the people," said the CM.
