Chandigarh, March 13, 2021:
Navreet Singh’s (who died on January 26 during Kisan Parade at ITO crossing in Delhi) grandfather, Hardeep Singh Dibdiba, to conduct ‘Naujwan Kisan Morcha Ikjutt-ta March’ towards Singh Border in a bid to unite all the youths and farmer leaders. Through a press conference in Chandigarh Today, he announced that the march would start from Moga on March 25 at 10 am. The march will join Delhi highway at Doraha, he said.
“We are inviting the youth of Punjab to take part in this march. The people can come on their vehicles by fixing a common ‘Kisani’ flag on them,” said Hardeep Singh.
He added that this march's motive is to show that youths and farmer leaders are still united. A big convoy will be seen in this march, and it will eventually boost the on-going agitation of farmers, said Hardeep Singh.
Speaking on occasion, Navreet’s grandfather said the struggle had entered a critical and decisive stage now. True to its malicious intentions and acts, the central government tried to create a rift amongst the struggling farmers and their leaders. Initially, the central government attempted to divide the agitating farmers based on religion, profession and ideology, but nothing worked, and they failed miserably. Lately, after the events of January 26, the Modi government and its IT cell tried to create a rift amongst the youth and the Kisan Morcha leadership.
He also said, “I had even seen the time of emergency in India. But the situation right now under the rule of Modi government is even worse.”
“Today let's remember Navreet Singh's sacrifice and martyrdom who laid down his life during his youth for our future and betterment of our lives,” said Hardeep Singh.
He said "The agitation is going well, and everyone’s focus should be on it only. The farmers have set a great example through this peaceful movement."
