No E-pass Mandatory for Himachal-bound Tourists from this date
Chandigarh, June 22, 2021: The Himachal Pradesh government has decided to do away with the mandatory e-pass for tourists from July 1 onwards.
The decision on the same was taken during the cabinet meeting headed by CM Jai Ram Thakur.
During the meeting, the Himachal cabinet also decided that all the shops will remain open from 9 am to 8 pm and the restaurants will be allowed to operate till 10 pm.
The government also announced relaxations in the social gatherings, both indoors and outdoors. Now 50 % of the indoors capacity with maximum of 50 people are allowed for indoors gathering while 100 persons are allowed in the outdoors gathering.
