Business Blaster Young Entrepreneur Scheme starts in 2 Govt Schools in Ferozepur
Ferozepur, November 3, 2022: After the formation of the Aam Aadmi Party government in Punjab, the implementation of the Delhi model of education has started in the government schools of the state. In this context, picking another leaf from Delhi, the two government schools of Ferozepur district - Government Senior Secondary School Malla Wala Khas and Government Senior Secondary School Panje Ke Uttar - have been selected, and the students of Class XI will start getting the benefit of learning from this government project from the first stage.
The BBYE scheme has been launched in 31 government schools in state, across nine districts of Punjab as a pilot project which will help to fulfill dream of the students studying in the government schools to become entrepreneurs.
State Nodal Officer Assistant Director of this scheme Jyoti Soni said that this project has been started by the government to give practical form to the aspirations of students to become business entrepreneurs. In the first phase, it will be run as a pilot project in 31 government schools of 9 districts of the state till 31 March 2023 and from the next session it will be run in all government schools of Punjab.
District Education Officer Chamkaur Singh Saran and Deputy DEO Komal Arora said that this project has also been run in Punjab in collaboration with Udayam Foundation of Bangalore and where the Deputy DEO participated in the special training organized by the Foundation, the district Principal Sanjeev Tandon Principal Prem Kumar of both the selected schools, as well as five lecturers of the schools also conducted this training and a nodal officer will be appointed at the district level to run this project in a genuine manner.
Dy. DEO Komal Arora said that under this scheme first business proposals will be taken from the students, then those business proposals will be discussed with the established entrepreneurs and those business proposals found suitable, by making a mixed group of 8 students for those proposals. Giving them complete guidance, financial help will be given to every member of the group, who will use this money to make their business proposals successful.
