Punjab By-polls Counting: AAP leads in 2 seats, Congress ahead in 2

Chandigarh, November 23, 2024 – The counting of votes in 4 Vidhan Sabha seats of Punjab has started at 8 am.First the postal ballots were counted. After that, the counting of EVM votes has also started.
Till now, the AAP candidate was leading in all the four seats in the initial trends. But now it is leading in two seats while Congress is leading in 2 seats. There have been 3 rounds in Giddarbaha. Here AAP candidate Dimpy Dhillon has a lead of 2137 votes.
With 1878 votes in Dera Baba Nanak, the candidate of the Congress party is leading in the seventh round as well. Congress maintained its lead in five consecutive rounds5 rounds have been completed in Chabewal. AAP candidate Ishank is ahead. He has a lead of 8508 votes.
6 rounds have been completed in Barnala. Congress candidate Kuldeep Singh Kala Dhillon is ahead with 1188 votes.
