Cadre allocated to newly appointed 180 IAS officers of 2023-batch; View list

New Delhi, November 27, 2024 – The Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) has officially released the cadre allocation for successful candidates selected through the UPSC Civil Services Examination – 2023.
This announcement details the state cadres assigned to newly inducted IAS officers, paving the way for respective state governments to proceed with their postings.
Among the notable allocations:
- Srivastava, a 2021-batch IAS officer and a native of Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, has been allotted his home state cadre.
- Animesh Pradhan, the second-ranked candidate in the 2023 examination, has been assigned the Odisha cadre.
- Donuru Ananya Reddy, who secured the third rank, has been allotted the Maharashtra cadre.
- Gurleen, a Punjab IAS officer has been allocated Punjab cadre.
In total, 180 IAS officers from the 2023 batch have received their cadre postings. The full list, including allocations for the top 20 candidates, highlights the diverse regional representation of this year’s selections.
