Bhagwant Mann led AAP government has imposed undeclared emergency in Punjab: SAD
Registration of false case against Parvinder Sohana highly condemnable: Arshdeep Singh Kler
Chandigarh, December 1, 2024: The Shiromani Akali Dal today said the Bhagwant Mann led Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government had imposed an undeclared emergency in Punjab even as the party strongly condemned the registration of a false case against SAD Mohali Incharge Parvinder Singh Sohana.
In a statement released here today, party Chief Spokesman Advocate Arshdeep Singh Kler said it was shocking to see that the Police had claimed that the presence of Parvinder Sohana in dharna seeking justice for two Punjabi youth murdered by illegal migrants in Punjab had created a Law and Order problem. He said the public was being forced to stage dharnas in Punjab due to the total collapse of the Law and Order situation in the state due to failure of Bhagwant Mann as Chief Minister and Home Minister. He said day light robberies, murders and extortions were the order of the day in Punjab due to complete collapse of the system.
He said that what Parvinder Sohana did for the victim family was an example of how public figures should come forward for getting justice for the common man who was suffering due to the failures of the AAP government.
The SAD leader further said the party would approach the Punjab and Haryana High Court in the matter and like many other cases would ensure that this case was scrapped by the judiciary.
