DSCW secures overall trophy at 65th Punjab University Zonal Youth Festival

Ferozepur, December 2, 2024: Dev Samaj College for Women (DSCW), Ferozepur, has once again proven its mettle in cultural and heritage activities by clinching top honours at multiple prestigious events. The college won the coveted overall trophy at the 65th Punjab University Zonal Youth and Heritage Festival, Zone-3, held at Baba Kundan Singh College, Muhar. Additionally, DSCW secured the second runner-up position in the Punjab University Inter-Zonal Youth and Heritage Festival.
Continuing its streak of excellence, DSCW students achieved first place for the second consecutive year in the Punjab State Inter-University Youth Fair, organized by the Punjab Youth Services Department at Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana.
The college's cultural brilliance peaked at the Punjab State Inter-University Youth Festival, held from November 29 to December 2, 2024, where students competed against participants from 17 universities. The team displayed outstanding performances in Sammi, Kali, and Kavishri competitions, clinching first place and adding another feather to their cap of accomplishments.
Dr. Sangeeta, Principal of DSCW, expressed pride in the students' achievements, stating, "These victories reflect the talent, dedication, and confidence of our students. Cultural activities not only enhance their skills but also contribute significantly to their personality development."
She congratulated the students, their parents, and the faculty members, including Palwinder Kaur, Dean of Cultural Affairs; Dr. Sandeep Kumar, Assistant Professor, Music Department; Chandrika; and Pawan Kumar, for their collective efforts in achieving this milestone.
