Shailendra Dubey said that the power employees and engineers of Uttar Pradesh are continuously engaged in improving the electricity system and making the OTS scheme starting from December 15 successful, but it is not known why the Power Corporation management has mysteriously decided to sell electricity distribution in 42 districts of the state.
This time too, there is a conspiracy to sell assets worth billions of rupees of Purvanchal and Dakshinanchal Electricity Distribution Corporations at throwaway prices without valuing the assets.
On what basis will the undoubtedly valuable land of Purvanchal Vidyut Vitran Nigam and Dakshinanchal Vidyut Vitran Nigam worth billions of rupees be handed over to private houses for just one rupee? This is a public asset. Due to all these things, power employees and consumers are very upset and agitated.
