Tarn Taran (Punjab), January 8, 2025: The Blood Bank and Dialysis Unit established at District Hospital Tarn Taran has been restarted due to the initiative of Civil Surgeon of Tarn Taran District Dr. Gurpreet Singh Rai.
Giving information in this regard, Civil Surgeon Dr. Rai said that immediately after obtaining the necessary license to run the blood bank at the district hospital, the health department has started blood bank services in the district.

Dr. Rai said that the blood bank services at the district hospital will be available for needy citizens for 24 hours on all days of the week.He said that if anyone is interested in donating blood, he can come to the blood bank and donate his blood. He said that the department also gives certificates to blood donors on the spot.
He informed that with the start of the blood bank, the citizens will get great benefit from it in times of need. Dr. Rai said that the health workers posted at the blood bank are always ready to serve humanity.
Apart from this, giving information, Civil Surgeon Dr. Rai said that the department has also started a dialysis unit at the District Hospital Tarn Tarn on a regular basis. He said that people suffering from kidney diseases can get the facility of dialysis service absolutely free of cost.
