Global Career Fair in Ferozepur brings together 24 Universities; benefits thousands of students
Ferozepur, January 16, 2025: The DCM Group of Schools organized the Ferozepur Global Career Fair at Das & Brown World School, where representatives from 24 universities across India and abroad guided thousands of students on career opportunities. Delegates provided detailed information on courses, degrees, diplomas, and facilities available at their institutions, helping students explore options tailored to their interests.
The event was inaugurated by Dr. Anirudh Gupta, CEO of DCM Group of Schools, who lit the ceremonial lamp and released balloons. He described the fair as a milestone event for students, offering them a platform to interact with diverse universities in one place.
Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Soumya Mishra attended the fair as a special guest and lauded the school’s efforts to guide students toward a promising future. She inspired the students by emphasizing the importance of determination, hard work, and setting life goals early. SSP Mishra shared her own success journey, advising students on time management, health, self-confidence, and a positive mindset. She also addressed students' queries and encouraged them to focus on smart work and perseverance.
Principal Rajesh Kumar Chandel welcomed delegates, students, parents, and guests, highlighting the school’s commitment to providing world-class education and extracurricular opportunities. Deputy CEO Dr. Gopan Gopalakrishnan explained that the fair was designed to bring universities and career guidance to students within their district, making career planning more accessible.
Universities such as Chitkara University, OP Jindal University, Flame University, Shiv Nadar University, and international institutions like EHL and the University of Guelph participated in the event. They introduced students to emerging courses and scholarship opportunities.
Students expressed gratitude for the opportunity to interact with university representatives, noting that the event saved them the effort of visiting multiple campuses. Many discovered new courses likely to be in demand in the future.
