Ferozepur Chamber of Commerce hosts successful Young Achievers Award 2025 to inspire youth
Ferozepur, January 21, 2025: The Ferozepur Chamber of Commerce – FCC - organized the Ferozepur Young Achievers Award 2025, aiming to motivate the youth and provide them with a platform to showcase their talent. The event saw participation from students across government and private schools in various categories.
Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Divya P. graced the occasion as the chief guest, alongside special guests including military officers C.S. Sharma and Arvindan, District Sports Officer Rupinder Singh Brar, and Border Security Force official Madan Lal. Dr. Anirudh Gupta, Chairman of the Ferozepur Chamber of Commerce, presided over the event.
The ceremony commenced with a Ganesh Vandana and a lamp-lighting ceremony by the dignitaries. Principal Anuradha Chandel welcomed the guests, followed by an address from Dr. Anirudh Gupta, who elaborated on the significance of the awards.
Dr. Gupta emphasized that the Young Achievers Award aims to unlock the hidden potential of the students in the border district. He expressed hope that such initiatives would encourage students to excel, bringing pride to their families and the district on national and international platforms.
Chief Guest SDM Divya P. lauded the initiative, stating that recognizing young talent is the need of the hour. She noted that many students' abilities often go unnoticed due to a lack of encouragement, and events like these are essential for fostering their growth.
The awards were presented in categories including Sports Champion, Academic Excellence, Music and Dance, Creative Arts, Community Heroes, and Technology and Innovation. Students were recognized across age groups under 10, 12, 14, and 18. The majority of applications were received in the academics and sports categories, with a jury selecting the top performers. Certificates were also distributed to other participants to encourage their efforts.
The event was supported by the Bharat Vikas Parishad, Kabira Foundation, and Mayank Foundation. Over 500 students from various schools in the district applied for the awards.
The jury comprised Red Cross Secretary Ashok Behal, Deputy DEO (Secondary) Dr. Satinder Singh, SBS University Registrar Dr. Gazalpreet Singh Anreja, Dr. Neetu Kakkar, and Narinderjit Kaur, who evaluated applications across categories and nominated the deserving recipients.
The Ferozepur Young Achievers Award 2025 proved to be a significant step in empowering the youth and celebrating their accomplishments.
