Doctors at Khanuari border site allege abuse and harassment, write to Medical Superintendent about discontinuing duties

Chandigarh, January 22, 2025: The Senior and Junior Residents on duty at Khanauri border farmer protests site have alleged harassment from farmers and medical personnel along with verbal abuse from farmer leader Jagjit Singh Dallewal and his supporters.
"Doctors on duty have been facing persistent harassment from farmers and media personnel with multiple episodes of verbal abuse from Mr. Dallewal and his supporters. We will not continue our duties at the Khanauri border from here on," the doctors said in the letter to the Medical Superintendent.
