  Chandigarh, January 23, 2025:
  
  The Punjab government has granted permission to prosecute former AIG Ashish Kapoor in a case involving disproportionate assets. The decision comes after new evidence surfaced in a corruption investigation. Kapoor, who was arrested in October 2022 and is currently out on bail, faces serious charges, and the Vigilance Bureau is preparing to file charges against him.
