PAU PhD Scholar wins 'Third Oral Presentation Award' at National Conference

Ludhiana (Punjab), February 13, 2025: Khushboo, a PhD student in Chemistry at Punjab Agricultural University (PAU), Ludhiana, has been honored with the "Third Oral Presentation Award" for her outstanding research in the Thrust Area - Advancement in Pure & Applied Chemical Sciences.
The award was conferred during the 28th Punjab Science Congress (PSC-2025) National Conference on Current Trends in Science and Technology, organized under the aegis of the Punjab Academy of Sciences, Patiala.
The conference, hosted by the Faculty of Sciences, Khalsa College, Amritsar, took place from February 7-9, 2025.. Khushboo’s research focuses on "Iron-Impregnated Nanocomposite(s) Mediated Controlled-Release Iron as Soil Fertilizer and Seed Treatment for Rice and Soybean."
Her Ph.D. dissertation is being conducted under the guidance of Dr. Anjali Sidhu, a nanotechnologist (chemistry) at the Electron Microscopy and Nanoscience Laboratory at the College of Agriculture, PAU.
Dr Satbir Singh Gosal, Vice-Chancellor, PAU; Dr Kiran Bains, Dean, College of Basic Sciences and Humanities; Dr Manjeet Kaur Sangha, Head, Department of Chemistry; and Dr Anjali Sidhu, her Major Advisor, congratulated Ms Khushboo on her achievement and commended her dedication and contribution to advanced chemical research.
