Jathedar Sri Akal Takht Sahib meets Himachal students, spreads message of brotherhood

Amritsar (Punjab), March 22, 2025 – Jathedar of Sri Akal Takht Sahib, Giani Kuldeep Singh Gargaj, met with students and teachers from Government College Badsar, Hamirpur, Himachal Pradesh, at the Akal Takht Secretariat. During the interaction, he emphasized the importance of unity, harmony, and inter-state brotherhood.
The visiting delegation shared that before their trip, some people had warned them that Punjab might not be safe for them.However, after arriving, they felt welcomed and secure, experiencing firsthand the warmth and hospitality of the land of the Gurus.
The group also discussed plans to establish a Guru Ghar (Sikh place of worship) in Himachal Pradesh, highlighting the region’s growing spiritual connection with Sikhism.

Jathedar Giani Kuldeep Singh Gargaj reassured them that Punjab, being the land of the Gurus, is a place of peace, inclusivity, and respect for all.He urged people from both states to foster stronger ties and live together in harmony.
